Phonics Fun

   

We printed out these lovely phonics sheets from Happy Learners Resources and my daughter was keen to do some writing practice but I didn't just want to use them once and throw them away so I teamed them up with her Crayola Dry Erase Activity Centre so she could draw on them and then wipe them clean again. You could do the same by putting them in a clear plastic envelope but Phoebe loves using this board and putting the sheets in & out of it herself so this made it even more appealing to her.

She traced over the letter and picture, wiped it out and then wrote some words that began with that letter - Phoebe thought of the words and I helped her with the spelling, the choice of 'bottoms' was all her!! 😏 She really enjoyed taking ownership and picking which letter she would do next too. We will definitely be doing this activity again.
