Octonauts Tray

   

I promised my son I would make him an ocean tuff tray after he loved the pictures of the one I did for my daughter's class. This gorgeous sunny afternoon seemed like the perfect time so I quickly put this together between work and school pick up.

   

I used the ocean pvc liner, water beads and sand like last time. In addition to this I did a different twist on the school one by adding their Octonauts toys, as both my kids have recently rediscovered their interest in them. 

               

 They loved gliding the toys over the water beads and scooping them up with the Gup's net and came up with lots of narrative to their play.

   

It then got rather messy when I gave into the pleas for some water adding. The tray didn't look quite so pretty by the time they'd finished with it but it was definitely well enjoyed!!!
